Our Leadership & Governance
SBEG’s Board is currently drawn from each of our members, and they define our strategy. The Board delegate certain responsibilities to SBEG’s Finance and Executive Committee, which has five Board members and two additional people with expertise in Human Resources and Finance.
The Board and the Committee delegate responsibility for SBEG’s day to day work to the Leadership and Management Team.
SBEG operates under a company structure, with a range of operational relationships that enable the delivery of our mission and strategy.
We work transparently, and over 30 years, independent and unqualified financial audits and reviews continue to demonstrate the viability and sustainability of our business model.
We also we recognize the need to review and evolve our governance in response to our environment and current best practices.
We are presently undertaking a review of our governance and membership model, and our new Chair will support the implementation of agreed recommended changes in collaboration with the Board and Executive Team, at the conclusion of that process.
